The P6000M uses the TouchChip® sensor, the largest silicon sensor available, to give it the ability to be used in a wide variety of applications. It has the ability to be securely mounted in a horizontal or vertical position. In addition, it can be mounted from the front of the unit when there is no access from behind the mounting area. the unit is completely water tight and has an optional cover that adds additional protection to the sensor area.
The P6000M will allow you to confidently deploy biometrics in the harshest of environments. With its large are sensor, it can be used in 1:1 as well as 1:N applications. From barcode replacement to physical access, this one can do it all.

Applications that need to search a large set of biometric data and identify an individual (1:N matching) require a larger fingerprint for comparison. The P6000M, with it’s 12.8mm x 18mm sensing area, provides more than enough data for these applications. Combined with our Verifi Identification System (VIS) it can identify individuals from a database of over one million users!
From the layout of the electronic printed circuit board to the metal housing, every measure has been taken to provide the end user with unmatched ESD protection. In addition, special ESD suppression components were included in the design of the P6000M to give it every advantage in this critical area.
