Description
The P5200 is a USB desktop device in the line of Verifi fingerprint readers. It uses the TouchChip® sensor with SteelCoat. SteelCoat offers significantly improved durability for applications such as mobile ID devices, physical access control devices, and point-of sale terminals.

SteelCoat™
SteelCoat is a unique protective that significantly enhances durability and enhances resistance to electrostatic discharge (ESD). SteelCoat is a hard epoxy protective coating for long, trouble-free sensor operation and is tested to withstand over 4 million touches.
Eliminate Passwords
The P5200TPM in conjunction with Authasas can solve your network security problems. When used with Authasas Enterprise Edition software, the P5200TPMbecomes the hardware component of an Active Directory domain wide solution for eliminating passwords an instituting a company wide Single Sign-On solution.
One to Many
Applications that need to search a large set of biometric data and identify an individual (1:N matching) require a larger fingerprint for comparison. The P5200TPM, with it’s 12.8mm x 18mm sensing area, provides more than enough data for these applications.
